Proactive SALES COORDINATOR for Silicom Denmark in Søborg

On behalf of Silicom Denmark A/S, we are looking for a solution-oriented Sales Coordinator with a go-do-attitude.

Silicom Denmark A/S is an international IT company in heavy growth and flux. It is in a positive development stage and is searching for an extrovert and dedicated employee, who will take on the important key position as Sales Coordinator in the office in Søborg. You will report to the VP of Product Management.

As the company develops, tasks and priorities will also evolve with time. To begin with, your tasks can be grouped into Back-end Sales support, Finance support and Shipping support as described below:

Back-end Sales support: 
Several different tasks, all related to customer interaction – directly or indirectly. The tasks below is typical but not necessarily complete.

  • Handling of incoming Orders: Full Order Life Cycle
  • Administrative tasks in the ERP system (Priority), e.g. adding new customers or products
  • Creation of Quotes
  • Approval of freight bills
  • Reporting to Head Office in Israel on a weekly basis

Support to Finance and Shipping:
Ad-hoc support to finance is focussed on customer related communication and analysis, typically payment related issues. Shipping support is limited to back-up in case of absence/sickness.

Future tasks:
The company has just implemented the Priority system and it is currently an ongoing process. It is thus envisioned that many of the current Sales Coordinator tasks in near future will be automated to a degree where significant time usage will be freed. The plan is that the Sales Coordinator then will play an active role in the introduction and usage of a Customer Relation Management system (SUGAR CRM). Tasks will include:

  • Follow up on progress on individual accounts
  • Reporting and analysis on various sales segmentation
  • Participation in sales events such as exhibitions, no more than 3 – 4 times per year

Your profile includes:
The ideal candidate has experience from a similar position in an international company and has good English skills, written and spoken – Danish language is not a requirement. You have experience with Excel, Word and Outlook on a user-level. Experience working with ERP/CRM systems will be an advantage. 

As a person, you are a team player that is able to take ownership of tasks and offer your help/ ask for help when needed. With your calm attitude and overview, you cooperate and communicate in an accommodating manner with coworkers and customers across the organization in Denmark and abroad. You are proactive and robust in a changing and sometimes challenging environment. 

In addition, you are patient and understand that working with newly implemented IT systems may take time and an extra effort. 

You will thrive in a dynamic, informal and flexible work environment with tight deadlines. You have focus on details and value good quality.
